Memories & Tributes

Explore how Will positively impacted the people in his life through these loving

memories and tributes. Will was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.

"Will was always smiling and so cool.
When I first met Lil Bill he gave me
a big hug and welcomed
me to Bibleway.

I love you and thank God for
allowing me to be a part of his life."

Betty M.

"My finest memory of Will was

his amazing smile and his attention to people.

He was the kindest kid that I’ve ever met.

He is loved!

He will be missed, but God loved him best."

Lisa H.

"My fondest memory of Will was Mexico

in September 2020. We sailed across the

ocean with strangers, and he took the mic

and sang in front of everyone.
Although they didn't speak English,

they loved him!"

Justin

"We went to Texas and spent the night

at Uncle Mike’s and Auntie Gerry’s.

The five of us grandkids had a dance party,

then we worked out, and afterward

had a dance party right before bed."

John V.

"I remember going to the church play
in the East, going to homecoming in 2009,
and all the moments
in the BFHS band room talking
rather than playing instruments."

Troi

During senior year, me, Will, and Dominique, left to go get free

pancakes on International Pancake Day at IHOP during study

hall. On the way back, Dom‘s car broke down.
We were so scared we wouldn’t make it back in time

before our next class! Will waved down a policeman

and asked him to bring us just to make sure

we made it back to school safely.

We laughed so much that whole day.
I will never forget that. Love you, Will.

Chelsi

"I remember our whole Cancun trip.

We bonded and got closer than ever.

Your spirit and everything you stand for

will forever live on. Look over us Brudah."

Austin

"You and Jasmine were in middle school and Nya and I

were in elementary school. We would always say we were

going to be sisters because y’all were getting married.

But years later, without the marriage,

you were still my brother and calling me sister.

Love you, Will."

Kayla

"Every time we would all go to

Belle Chase and hoop.

Every time we would all hang out

and laugh, cracking jokes

at Jesse‘s wedding.

Love you bro. May you rest in peace."

Brian A.

"The lunch table, lol.

The football team would always sit together during lunch.

Whatever we were talking about,

Dougie was always the life of the party."

Travis W.
